George Boyd Lookout

George Boyd lookout, Twelve Mile Peg, New South Wales

Make your way to George Boyd lookout to see the beauty of NSW’s South Coast region from up high.

Gorge yourself on expansive coastal and hinterland views spanning all the way from Jervis Bay to Kioloa. Check out the incredible surrounding landscape, dominated by tall-treed rainforest, caves and impressive overhangs, and see if you can make out Lake Conjola and Pigeon House Mountain Didthul amongst it all.

As well as enjoying these scenic Shoalhaven views, you can walk the short track between the lookout and picnic area below. If you’re keen to try a longer walk, start from the lower carpark and traverse the base of the escarpment via a spectacular rainforest track.

Washerwomans Beach

The beach extends for 840 metres between Dee Beach and Boat Harbour Beach with trees lining the back of the beach. The way the beach curves protects it from large swell making it a nice place to swim and take the family.

Milton Theatre

The Milton Theatre is an intimate 200 seat historic theatre which has been fully refurbished with latest sound and lighting equipment; it has great ambience and excellent acoustics, suitable for live performances, plays, opera and dance.

Boat Harbour Beach

Boat Harbour Beach in Bendalong is a popular place to come and feed the local sting rays at the boat ramp or spend a day at the beach. The beach faces north and is a great place to go in a southerly wind, as well as a great place to swim as it is often protected from the swell.

Cupitts Restaurant, Winery, Brewery

Cupitt's Winery is a South Coast food, wine, beer and cheese experience comprised of a family run boutique Winery, Cellar Door, Restuarant, Bar, Microbrewery, and Fromagerie in a beautiful coastal countryside setting in between Ulladulla and Milton. The vineyard is on a lovely green slope overlooking Burrill Lake and Pigeon House Mountain.

With plenty of room to move they are a pet-friendly property (on leads) so come and enjoy an outdoor dining experience with your pooch.

The Cupitt food and wine experience has been recently extended to include artisan cheese and handcrafted beers. Their brewery opened in 2014 producing single batched hop forward beers.

Pam Burridge Surf Schools

Learn to surf with Pam Burridge Surf Schools at either the Mollymook Surf School location or at Bendalong Surf School location. Also Stand up Paddle board lessons and hire available.

Lessons are available during summer and school holidays and private lessons can be booked all year round.

All surfing equipment supplied. Kids and adults welcome.

Bendalong (Inyadda) Beach

Maple Street, Bendalong, New South Wales, 2539

Bendalong Beach stretches for 1.6 kilometres between the villages of Bendalong and Manyana. The beach faces south-east and is a great place for taking the family and enjoying some bigger waves to go body boarding or play games on the sand. There are occasionally good waves for learning how to surf.

Monument Beach Ride

Nerringillah Road, Bendalong, New South Wales, 2539

Monument Beach ride from Bendalong is one of many cycling routes weaving through Conjola National Park. This route takes you along unsealed roads through turpentine and blackbutt forest to Monument Beach picnic area where there are scenic views of the rocky coastline and vast ocean.

Pack a picnic and go for a cycle with family or friends along this well-signposted route. In spring the landscape will be alive with wildflowers such as wattle and banksia. You’ll also want to keep your binoculars handy to get a look at the many native birds these flowers attract.

Dee Beach

Dee Beach is a small beach near North Bendalong that is popular with families in summer. It is a small beach wedged between two tree lined headlands with car parking available at either headland to access the beach. Both headlands are high above the beach offering beautiful views of the sea and sand below.
