Surf Spots

Culburra Beach is well known for it surf.  The town boasts two beaches, Northern end of Warrain Beach and Culburra Beach.  Well known waves are at the Surf Club, Main Beach, "The Lake" and Crookhaven Heads, plus many more.  There are waves here for all types of surfers and the little ones will love Tilbury Cove for learning. 

The South Coast Passage - Jervis Bay Wild

Your journey begins boarding our open aired Rigid Inflatable Boat at Greenwell Point (Crookhaven Heads).  You will be amazed by the rugged remote beauty of Beecroft Peninsula and it's unspoilt coastline.  On this blue water journey, you will explore ancient sea caves, remote seal colonies and towering sea clifts.  Wildlife you are likely to encounter will be dolphins, seals, whales (in season), bird life in their natural habitat. This is a unique experience not to be missed. 

Culburra Beach Surf School and Hire

Learn to surf at beautiful Culburra Beach near Nowra. It has some of Australia's best beginner waves, making it easy to be up and riding in no time.  Advanced surfers can be sure to get some good waves too.

Ocean Street Surf School is an accredited surf school with an Academy of Surf Instructors and abide by high international standards.

The Husky Ferry

Avoid the long drive and parking hassles, simply step aboard and enjoy a leisurely voyage to the heart of Huskisson.

Shoalhaven Zoo

Shoalhaven Zoo is the largest zoo on the New South Wales South Coast, bringing together over 100 species of native and exotic mammals, birds, and reptiles. Set in 16 acres of native bushland and resting on the banks of the beautiful Shoalhaven River, you'll find plenty to see and do during your visit.

After spending time exploring the zoo you can relax with a picnic by the river, cook up a barbecue or eat in the delightful Zoo Haven Cafe while taking in the wonderful views.

Crookhaven Heads Boat Ramp

Watch the boats coming and going, the trawlers pass through in the mornings and afternoons.  The fisherman clean their catch and the pelicans wait for theirs too. Take your pick from three wharf's for a chance of hooking your own or simply take a stroll along the waters edge later in the day for some spectacular sunsets.  Just a 5 minute stroll from our front gate or our park access gate and your there.
