Park Profile: Ulladulla

One of the best parts about being on holiday is the ability to park your car and not touch it again until it’s time to go home. That’s the experience that awaits you in Ulladulla – where everything you need is right at your doorstep (or tent flap) – an idyllic harbour town that dishes out friendly waves from locals and surf breaks alike!

Lobster Jacks Beach

Your Holiday Haven

Enjoying views across Ulladulla’s harbour from its prime spot on the coast leading to Warden Head, Holiday Haven Ulladulla has been creating special family memories for years. With accommodation that includes fully furnished cabins, ensuite sites, powered and unpowered camping sites – many including water views – there’s a “safe harbour” for every traveller.

Facilities on site are plentiful – including a modern pool as well as a wonderland of fun for the kids. Sit back and listen to their squeals of delight as they enjoy the jumping pillow, playground and splash pad, or join them for a game of mini golf or tennis on the half-court. Add in the outdoor cinema and BBQ areas and you have all the ingredients for the perfect break.

Venture just a few minutes away and you’ll discover the Ulladulla Sea Pool and beach – ideal for sunrise laps. Or for a more private beach adventure, enjoy direct access to Lobster Jack’s Beach – sheltered from the elements and the perfect spot for a refreshing dip in the ocean. Or explore the headland’s history, with its lighthouse and indigenous Coomee Nulunga Cultural Trail.

Native Café

Local Attractions

There’s nothing dull about Ulladulla – a ‘goldilocks’ township (not too big, not too small) where you can easily find great morning coffee (while browsing boutique shops), quality restaurant or tasty treat. Try Treehouse Café for some unique dishes, Native Café for views over the harbour, or Ocean Vibe Café for the best egg and bacon rolls!

Keen to pair all that nice food with a nice drop? You simply cannot go past local Cupitts Winery – home to tours, cellar door sales, microbrewery and regular markets. And burn off all that deliciousness with a heritage walk, round of golf or mountain biking on one of the nearby trail networks.

And those boats in the harbour aren’t just for show – with fresh seafood on offer all year round, you can cast a line and catch your own with one of the many fishing charters. Or if you’d rather be in the water yourself, grab some surfing gear or try your hand at stand up paddleboarding.

Positioned on the western horizon, the ultimate challenge is Pigeon House mountain – a bucket list peak to conquer with amazing views – suitable for most fitness levels and a great way to literally ‘top’ off your stay!
